Whitney DeMarlo Oeltman, co-founder of Dementia Spotlight Foundation, wrote an article entitled "Finding Meaning and Purpose in the Midst of a Changing Cognitive Abilities" for the magazine, Future of Personal Health. In addition to Whitney's article, this special Fighting Alzheimer's issue features a story about Seth Rogan and his dementia advocacy as well as an interview with Teepa Snow. Whitney's article features the stories of key people in her life who are navigating the journey of being affected by dementia.

John Clark, Director of Georgia News Network and host of the program "Georgia Focus," recently interviewed several Georgian dementia advocates and experts, including Robert Bowles of Living Beyond Diagnosis, Whitney DeMarlo Oeltmann, Dementia Spotlight Foundation's co-founder, Corrie Phillips of Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care program, Dr. William Hu of the Hu Lab at Emory University, Chris Brand of FODAC, Gary Kitchen of LMK Foundation, and Vince Zangaro, founder of the Alzheimer's Music Fest. All are partnering with or supporting the Alzheimer's Music Fest which will take place on September 15, 2018, in Woodstock, GA.
